Accessibility Statement for Charter Arms

Effective Date: July 30, 2025

Charter Arms is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, regardless of ability. We believe that everyone should be able to access information about our products and our company, and we are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone by applying relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Our goal is for the Charter Arms website to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to achieve this standard, but we recognize that some areas of the site may not yet be in full conformance as we continue to update our content and features.

Measures We Are Taking

To support our commitment, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Clear Structure: We use proper heading structures and semantic HTML to ensure content is well-organized and easily navigable by assistive technologies like screen readers.

  • Text Alternatives: We provide alternative text for all meaningful images and non-text content to ensure users who cannot see images can understand the information they convey.

  • Keyboard Navigation: Our website is designed to be functional for users who rely on keyboard-only navigation.

  • Readable Content: We strive to use readable fonts and maintain sufficient color contrast between text and its background to make it easy to read for people with low vision.

  • Responsive Design: Our website is designed to be compatible with various devices and screen sizes, ensuring a consistent and usable experience for all visitors.

Ongoing Effort

We understand that accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We are committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of our website through regular reviews, testing, and incorporating user feedback into our improvement plans.
